Overview

Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance to all legislative and statutory requirements and give regular updates to stakeholders;
- Plan, coordinate and report on individual training and development initiatives;
- Act as a consultant to the line management on the implementation of people management processes, changes and risks;
- Advise and manage industrial relations matters including but not limited to employee engagement, industrial action, discipline, grievances and disputes;
- Manage the administrative processes of the time and attendance, payroll and HR information systems ensuring timeous and accurate input as well as maintaining data integrity;
- Set up and maintain record keeping and filing systems;
- Propose recruitment of new staff and be engaged in selection process; manage placement process including logistical arrangements;
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures as well as the development and regular review of policies and procedures when needed;
- Manage the performance management process by means of coordinating, contracting, development of KPIs and the reviews as well as managing of poor performance;
- Responsible for various reporting on human resources activities;
- Set up, manage and maintain an active manpower plan;
- Responsible for timeous resolution of typical HR and payroll problems;
- Demonstrate innovation by developing HR related systems and processes and continuously strive to improve such systems and processes;
- Assist senior management with the execution and roll out of strategic initiatives, projects and tasks.

Required Qualifications:

- At least 4 years of experience in an HR Manager role; mining or industrial experience would be advantageous;
- Appropriate tertiary HR and training qualifications;
- Sound knowledge of recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiations, as well as human resources information systems;
- Sound knowledge of relevant labor legislation;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Armenian languages;
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels within the Organization;
- Meticulous, detail-oriented and well-organized person with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines;
- High level of integrity and ability to work with confidential and sensitive information;
- Person who keeps abreast and up-to-date with HR trends and industry wide developments;
- Proven track record in the provision of objective guidance and advice to line management regarding people management issues;
- Computer literacy.
