Overview

We are looking for IT Monitoring Engineers who will be responsible for the implementation and configuration of real-time monitoring, alerting and reporting of the global infrastructure (Network, Servers, Storage, Databases, etc.). He will be responsible for providing 24/7 on-call coverage on a rotating basis. Our professional team will work closely with you to develop an exciting career path focusing on your key strengths. Responsibilities:

-Provide technical support to the company
-Partner with Network Engineers, System Administrators, Database Administrators, Architects and Project Managers to plan and implement complex, technical monitoring solutions and architecture.
-Utilize best practices and provide recommendations to improve problem identification and response time in Digitain IT systems.
-Define, track and maintain the standard baselines and configuration sets of company’s global infrastructure and implement industry best practices with regards to:

-Windows and Linux based server technologies
-Application based monitoring
-Infrastructure utilization and capacity analysis
-LAN/WAN monitoring and capacity analysis
-Large server farm monitoring
-Microsoft IIS monitoring

Required Qualifications:

-Bachelors degree in Computer/Engineering
-3+ years experience in the field or related area
-Experience with virtualization technologies (HyperV, VMWare, etc.)
-Experience with IBM, CISCO, JUNIPER, HP hardware
-Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell)
-Experience with other monitoring products (Nagios, Cacti, MRTG, OpenView.)
-Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012 and Advanced Server
-Microsoft System Center (SCOM, Operations Manager.)
-Experience working with large server farms
-Ability to coordinate, plan and manage complex technical solutions
-Ability to operate under deadlines, set priorities, and handle heavy workloads
-Ability to effectively present information to management, other departments, and public user groups
