“Ameriabank CJSC” is looking for a “Branch Manager, Hrazdan branch”.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the branch
  • Present and protect the bank interests in the relationships with the government authorities and local municipalities, individuals, legal and unincorporated entities
  • Perform executive and regulatory duties
  • Procure and/or lease property/supplies required for operation of the branch
  • Take steps required to ensure safe maintenance of all material values available on the branch premises
  • Sign and execute agreements on behalf of the Bank on the basis of the power of attorney
  • Make sure that the employees comply with the disciplinary rules, reward them or hold accountable, as the case may require
  • Ensure compliance with the regulations, decisions and other regulatory documents adopted by the Bank
  • Arrange the works with the Cash-in-Transit Service, accept, check and oversee the valuables delivered by the Cash-in-Transit Service
  • Arrange and oversee the works related to loading and unloading of ATM cassettes
  • File cash money orders to the head office, if required
  • Provide working cash to the tellers during the day, if required
  • Provide expert guidance and consulting to the tellers, if required
  • Approve the teller's transactions within the defined authorities
  • Organize filing of the daily documents and closing of business
  • If required, receive cash at the COB, reconcile the balances, complete the cash book and participate in the check of availability of valuables and cash
  • If required, close and wax-seal the vault and hand it over to the Security Guard
  • File reports
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Retail Banking Director and Head of the Branches Coordination Division

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in economy, finance or accounting, MBA will be considered as a plus

  • Five years of experience in finance or banking, from which at least 2 years in managerial position

  • Fluency in Armenian, Russian

  • Strong knowledge of English

  • Relevant professional certification of the Central Bank of Armenia is mandatory

  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

  • Strong knowledge of Armenia's financial and banking legislation and bylaws of the Central Bank of Armenia

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AS Bank 4.0

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to make decisions under pressure

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Strong negotiation and representation skills
