Overview

Ogma Applications is looking for a Business Analyst to work on progressing French projects.

Responsibilities:


- Communicate with the French clients to collect requirements by organizing regular meetings, calls, written and oral discussions
- Develop and utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications using natural language accurately and concisely
- Be an effective intermediary between the technology and business teams: communicate with project’s managers, team leads, developers, QA employees, designers and deliver the needs of the clients, understand technical and non-technical problems, incertitude, and questions, and explain the latter to the clients
- Convert business and user requirements into functional requirements
- Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish customer classes, as well as their characteristics
- Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements, verbally or through written documentation, to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood
- Monitor and plan the whole process of development, track task statuses, provide reports to the customer and the end user about the progress of the project
- Participate in the QA of the solutions, effectively collaborate with the QA team to analyze vulnerabilities and discuss possible changes in project features
- Review the products delivered to the customer to ensure that the delivery corresponds to the requirements provided
- Research, review and analyze the efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
- Train customers and end users with the product functionalities
- Create the appropriate documents and training material and manuals for the customers and end users
- Assist the Marketing team for business development in the French region

Required Qualifications:


- University degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications, Marketing or related fields
- Excellent knowledge of French language
- Advanced knowledge of English is essential
- Demonstrated experience in using business software applications and processes
- Ability to write detailed business requirement documents, user stories and training materials in natural language
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs
- Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills. Ability to ask the relevant questions to determine the essential requirements and needs of clients. Ability to detect what people might be hesitant of saying
- Conflict management skills to resolve issues among project stakeholders (customers, product management and engineering)
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Detail orientation, self-motivation, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Willingness and possibility to participate in business trips
- Technical knowledge and development skills will be a huge plus
- Experience as a Business Analyst or a similar position will be a plus
