Overview
“The Alexander Yerevan Hotel” is looking for a “Chief Accountant”.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain adequate accounting records of all assets, liabilities and transactions of the hotel
- Report, analyze and ensure the integrity of all financial information
- Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
- Prepare tax, statistical and other reports according to RA legislation and deadlines
- Assist Director of Finance in all stages leading to the preparation of all monthly financial reports and analyses
- Determine proper handling of financial transactions
- Responsible for inventory accounting
- Work with both internal and external auditors during financial audits
- Maintain and administer accounting software and database
- Other job related duties
Required Qualifications:
- Higher education in Finance and Accounting or related major
- At least 5 years of work experience in finance and accounting, from which 3 years as chief accountant. Prior experience in the hotels is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian tax legislation
- Advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior 1C and Opera expertise required
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages
