Overview

“The Alexander Yerevan Hotel” is looking for a “Chief Accountant”.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate accounting records of all assets, liabilities and transactions of the hotel
  • Report, analyze and ensure the integrity of all financial information
  • Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP/IFRS
  • Prepare tax, statistical and other reports according to RA legislation and deadlines
  • Assist Director of Finance in all stages leading to the preparation of all monthly financial reports and analyses
  • Determine proper handling of financial transactions
  • Responsible for inventory accounting
  • Work with both internal and external auditors during financial audits
  • Maintain and administer accounting software and database
  • Other job related duties

Required Qualifications:

  • Higher education in Finance and Accounting or related major
  • At least 5 years of work experience in finance and accounting, from which 3 years as chief accountant. Prior experience in the hotels is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian tax legislation
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Word and Excel. Prior 1C and Opera expertise required
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages
