Overview

Responsibilities:

Communications component
- take ownership of GOALS’ social media and website, provide support in terms of publications and visibility of organisation’s activities. This includes:
- Managing all GOALS social media platforms and website
- Strategizing new social media campaigns for GOALS to take part in
- Designing and preparing the content for the monthly/quarterly newsletter
- Strategizing new methods for increasing the number of subscribers of GOALS Monthly Newsletter and Social media channels
- Taking lead on creating audiovisual content for promotional and other purposes (photos, videos, quotes of participants, designing digital materials), as well as its logical and systematic storage
- Preparing press releases and populating the website of the organisation
- Main contact person for any press outlet, responsible for ensuring their presence at GOALS events
- Development component
- support the team by coordinating and actively contributing to the process of applying, managing and reporting for grants and other donations
- Writing and submitting grant proposals in cooperation and with the support of other GOALS members
- Ensuring that the financial and other administrative guidelines provided by the donor are fully respected
- Preparing and submitting the reports as required by the donors, in cooperation and with the support of respective staff members
- Supporting CEO in communications with donors and supporters
- Maintaining the donor database
- Supporting the creation and implementation of fundraising campaigns
- Strategizing about potential new funding schemes and partners

Required Qualifications:

Experience:
- Passion for media and marketing and relevant media planning experience helpful
- Experience in grant coordination in a similar field helpful
- Superior communication and copywriting skills
- Interest in photography and experience in design are a plus Attitude:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and excellent prioritizing skills to meet daily, time-sensitive deadlines
- Self-motivated, with a drive to exceed user expectations and enable stakeholders
- Attention to detail, with an ability to identify issues and implement remedies
- A strong team player, reliable and respectful IT skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or similar softwares)
- Online cooperation and project management tools (minimum Google Drive)
- Basic management of e-tools based on Wix, Squarespace or comparable content management system
- Advanced knowledge of social media communication tools, esp. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Mailchimp is a merit
- Basic command of scripting languages is not required, but is a plus Language skills:
- Armenian and English

- Any other foreign language competences are a plus
