The Digital Officer will contribute to enhancing of the digital reputation, engagement and positioning of the ICRC, furthering the goals and objectives of the communication strategy.

  • Ensures accurate, timely and effective delivery of digital content, optimized for audience engagement, partnering with the audiovisual producer, executes social media publishing and monitoring
  • Designs and implements content promotion and maketing plans and strategies for the respective social media accounts
  • Using accepted best practices and in line with the institutional strategies, supports the development of digital projects leading on engagement with priority audiences
  • Conducts ongoing evaluation of the success of digital content initiatives after publication
  • Coordinates the response mechanism with the digital audiences on the ICRC’s social platform
  • Conducts audience profiling, segmentation and analysis upon need
  • Produces page performance analysis reports by monitoring, evaluating and assessing the impact of digital communication work
  • Oversees social ad buys to ensure positioning of the ICRC and promotion of key humanitarian themes and issues
  • Contributes to the development and production of dissemination tools and information materials

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in marketing, journalism, languages, preferably with a digital background and specialization
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience (experience in international organizations will be viewed as an asset)
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written Armenian, English, Russian
  • Computer proficiency, proven experience in social media marketing and engagement (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of the social media environment and literacy of page management, including performance measurement platforms 
  • Good planning and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in handling multitasking
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
