“Near East Foundation Armenia” is looking for a “Economic Inclusion Lead”.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the project team, partners, USAID, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities to facilitate and incentivize labor market participation for marginalized and underprivileged individuals
  • Provide leadership, technical direction, and coordination to project activities
  • Lead interventions to improve access to career information and skill development opportunities for job seekers including youth, women, and marginalized groups in isolated communities
  • Ensure all project activities address the specific needs of women, youth, and marginalized groups, including engaging families and communities and working to alter perceptions of women’s participation in the labor market
  • Contribute to project deliverables and reports
  • Provide input to other project activities as needed

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, public administration, education, social development or other relevant fields of study
  • 7 years minimum of relevant work experience designing and implementing social inclusion, economic development, or youth and women engagement activities
  • Demonstrated understanding of the specific needs of various marginalized populations
  • Knowledge of the Armenian labor market and education and training systems
  • Demonstrated effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Armenian, working knowledge of English
  • Ability to live and work in Armenia without company sponsorship
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check
