Overview

Responsibilities:

● Managing email delivery reports and alerts, including bounce logs;
● Perform in-depth discovery of the client’s business, competitors and industry to provide best practices and competitive analysis;
● Perform detailed analyses of client deliverability across programs, campaigns, and segments and provide recommendations for improvement;
● Based on your understanding of ISP filtering technologies, develop recommendations for maximizing email program performance by increasing inbox rates in a sustainable way;
● Implement new IP/domain warming plans to help new customers with platform migration;
● Stay informed of emerging industry trends by reading reports/publications, participating in training webinars, and attending industry conferences;
● Contribute to Oracle thought leadership in the industry by authoring articles and presenting at conferences. Develop content for the Oracle internal libraries.
● Define technological solutions to monitor client e-mail marketing campaigns to proactively identify problems, measure company overall performance relative to deliverability metrics, and to enable clients to create and execute campaigns that support best practices;
● Work with our internal Deliverability Operations team and also develop your own key relationships among ISPs to work in concert on behalf of clients/consumers and to ensure that Oracle is aware of ISP initiatives in this area and their impact on our clients;
● Work with Product Management and Deliverability Operations to define product priorities and enhancements related to deliverability;
● Travel to client locations to execute Oracle deliverability workshops and consulting.

Required Qualifications:

● 3 - 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years of experience with the email channel focused on deliverability;
● Previous agency or consulting experience preferred;
● Thorough understanding of email technologies including MTAs, SMTP, DNS, authentication, feedback loops and white listing;
● Strong familiarity with database concepts, specifically regarding email data capture and segmentation;
● Prior experience in working with marketers on deliverability related issues;
● Understanding of online marketing best practices;
● Knowledge of ESP landscape;
● Regulatory experience in understanding proposed and passed anti-spam legislation;
● Knowledge of spam filtering technologies;
● Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
● Excellent oral and written communication skills along with project management and interpersonal communication abilities (ability to produce professional reports and present to senior-level executives within client organizations);
● Outstanding attention to detail and high personal quality expectations;
● Excellent client service and client-relations skills;
● Strong understanding of what it takes to excel as a consultant;
● Ability to take responsibility and complete projects single-handedly;
● Superior computer skills (Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
● Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated work ethic and ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines;
● 4-year BA or BS degree (preferably in Marketing, Business Management, Economics, Statistics or other related coursework)
