- Identify and select reputable and safe carriers for freight services;

- Create, coordinate, and manage pick-up and delivery schedules, coordinating with shippers, carriers, dispatchers, and customers;

- Provide customers with shipping quotes;

- Book orders with carriers;

- Track and report shipment status of loads;

- Maintain accurate records of all activity, ensuring freight paperwork is complete and approved prior to transportation;

- Manage multiple deliveries and process spot requests;

- Respond to customer concerns and queries in a timely, professional manner;

- Develop business relationships with carrier contacts, and negotiate pricing agreements and contracts;

- Maintain positive, productive relationships with customers, and contact them, as appropriate, for new business opportunities or to offer special promotions and discounts;

- Generate leads and attract new prospects, developing a sales pipeline;

- Resolve freight discrepancies and keep relevant parties apprised;

- Maintain current knowledge of market trends in transportation marketplace.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Business Administration, or related sphere;

- Fluency in English languages is a must, both written and verbal;

- Work experience in a similar role is preferred;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

- Excellent problem-solving abilities;

- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills;

- Strong customer service skills;

- Highly organized and strong attention to detail;

- Ability to meet sales targets;
