Overview
Responsibilities:
- Develop, record and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal;
- Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications;
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications;
- Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools;
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API;
- Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale;
- Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality;
- Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues;
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field;
- At least 2 years of professional work experience in PHP/MySQL development;
- Experience of working with PHP Laravel framework;
- Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds;
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular 1), JQuery Expert;
- Experience with REST APIs (Google/Yandex);
- Knowledge of MySQL database structure;
- Read, understand and modify the existing code;
- Experience with MySQL database design, programming and administration;
- Knowledge of working version control tools like GitLab;
- Excellent multitasking skills;
