Overview

Responsibilities:

It is expected that in active cooperation with the relevant department staff the junior expert will need to support the department in the following main areas:

  • Strategic planning/developing and designing implementation action plans,
  • Communication with stakeholders and constituency,
  • Data collection, analysis, and visualization,
  • Assessment of the situation (including risk assessment),
  • Research and preparation of paper analyses suitable for different audiences (for both interagency communication and public communication),
  • Reporting.

 

Expected results:

It is expected that due to this project the department, where the future junior expert will be engaged, will have the following results:

  • Improved practices of data collection, research, data analysis and visualization,
  • New or improved communication methods with constituencies and partner organizations for data collection purposes,
  • Improved plans and strategies to implement reforms and action plans.

Required Qualifications:

The junior expert should have the following qualifications:

  • Hold higher education in sociology/statistics, economics/finances, public administration/public finances, or related fields,
  • Have at least two years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas,
  • Have proficiency in Armenian (mother tongue/fluent) and English (working) written and oral speech,
  • Have computer (MS Office) and online communication skills,
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and initiative,
  • Reveal excellent organizational skills,
  • Have clear understanding and knowledge of public administration and state apparatus,
  • Have in-depth understanding of the higher education system and requirements,
  • Possess proven experience in data analysis, research and strategic planning.
