For our Armenian operations, we are looking for a Lawyer.
As a Lawyer in the Legal Team in Europe you will be responsible for supporting Evolution’s growth in Armenia, working with internal stakeholders such as HR, Property Management and Studio Operations. You will provide support and be the main point of contact for all internal departments in Armenia as well as coordinating external counsel. The Lawyer role is based in our new offices in the Yerevan studio, is part of a global legal team and reports to the Head of Legal Operations (East) based in Tblisi.
-Prepare draft contracts, contract modifications, additions, attachments thereto;
-Review proposed contract or other legal document projects by the Company's current or potential business partners, to give opinions on them to the Company's management;
-Draft, prepare and amend labor agreements or any documents related thereto;
-Review and monitor the changes in the Armenian legislation applicable to the operations of the Company;
-Review Company’s and Group policies and procedures for the compliance with local legal requirements;
-Liaise with other departments of the Company and provide them with legal support;
-Provide support to law firm/-s on crucial issues of the Company;
-Continuously identify, document and increase efficiencies of business processes to align with legal and compliance requirements;
-Develop project plans, reports and schedules to higher management, relevant internal and external stakeholders and teams to manage expectations and to ensure work is delivered within scope, on time and within budget;
-Maintain knowledge and assist in keeping an up to date and accurate library/database of legal documents, processes and procedures;
-Provide training as needed;
-Perform other duties, as asked by the direct manager, which are related to this position and which meet the qualifications.
-Higher education, preferably Master's;
-At least 3-year experience as a commercial lawyer;
-Good knowledge of corporate, commercial, real estate, employment and data protection law;
-Very good command of Armenian and English languages, knowledge of the Russian language is preferable;
-Advanced PC and Microsoft Oﬃce skills;
-Advanced communication, analytical and multi-tasking skills;
-Fluency in English, verbal and written, additional languages is a merit;
-Good level of computer skills and experience in spreadsheets.
