“Near East Foundation Armenia” is looking for a “Policy Reform Lead”.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the project team, partners, USAID, and other stakeholders to identify policy gaps and improve the legal regulatory framework to improve access to the labor market and encourage increased women’s participation
  • Provide leadership, technical direction, and coordination to project activities
  • Engage and coordinate with the Government of Armenia (GOAM), the private sector, and youth and women to determine the most impactful government reforms and private sector policies to undertake, strengthen, and/or implement
  • Develop a strategic communications plan to help the GOAM publicize and explain reforms to the public
  • Contribute to project deliverables and reports
  • Provide input to other project activities as needed

Required Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, law public administration, education or other relevant fields of study
  • 7 years minimum of work experience in policy and regulatory reform relevant to economic development, workforce development, education and/or women and youth economic participation
  • Knowledge of the Armenian labor market, education and training systems, and existing labor policies and regulations
  • Demonstrated effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Armenian, working knowledge of English
  • Ability to live and work in Armenia without company sponsorship
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check
