Overview

Katapult team seeks a Project Coordinator & Content Researcher for a new arts community platform. As Project Coordinator you will take part in developing and organizing community events, workshops and discussions, and maintain efficient communication with all involved partners of the project. You will coordinate and keep track of team tasks, communication, and take thorough notes on discussions. You will report directly to the Team Lead of the project.
As Content Researcher, you will actively collect and seek out content needed for the community platform including but not limited to: mapping and identifying available cultural grants, artist residencies, and other development opportunities for artists living and working in Armenia. You will coordinate with the Team Lead, the Platform Strategist, as well as the Platform Architect.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the Web Platform Architect to collect and provide necessary content for populating the platform, including but not limited to: scouting available grant opportunities in Armenia, International grants open for Armenian studies & Armenian artists, available artist residencies, etc;
  • Coordinating between the Platform Designer and the Platform Architect to make sure platform vision is aligned;
  • Checking in with core Katapult Team to make sure project is on-track;
  • Overseeing all internal communications between platform stakeholders, platform producers, and core Katapult team;
  • Supporting with cultural asset mapping/research;
  • Providing other research if needed.
Required Qualifications:

Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Cultural Studies, Law or a related field Humanities etc.

Professional Experience:
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in project management, diplomacy, international cultural affairs, implementation of grant application strategies or related fields.

Networking and Relationship Management:
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaborations. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team to achieve common goals within appointed deadlines.

Language Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in written and verbal Armenian and English languages is compulsory; Knowledge of Russian is preferable.

Soft Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Drive, Power Point, being ready to explore latest digital tools for effective management and communication.
