“EPAM Systems LLC” is looking for a “Regular Azure DevOps Engineer “.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage CI/CD process for different types of application and automate as many processes as possible
  • Deploy and adopt Azure Landing Zones solutions
  • Migrate workloads to Azure Cloud
  • Build and maintain customer environments in Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Consult customers on technical aspects of installation, sizing, scaling
  • Contribute to the support development teams in technical questions of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
  • Set up monitoring and optimize for cost and performance
  • Manage the full release process

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure based production systems
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud:
    • IaC: automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform/ARM/Bicep
    • Practical experience and expertise with Azure services (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Databases, Azure Kubernetes Service)
    • Good knowledge in Azure Networking Services: VNet, VWan, ExpressRoute, Gateways, DNS, Peering, Load Balancer, Firewall, NSG, WAF, Traffic manager, AppGateway, CDN
    • Practical experience and expertise in monitoring (performance, monitoring based on “golden signals”, alerting)
  • Kubernetes:
    • Hands-on with Microservice deployment and configuration using manifest files/HELM
    • Practical experience and expertise with Kubernetes autoscaling
    • Kubernetes Security concepts understanding
  • Azure Active Directory:
    • Azure AD authentication
    • Users and groups
    • Roles
  • CI/CD projects experience. Manage, develop, build CI/CD pipeline, including:
    • Creating and maintaining Azure DevOps pipelines (classic and YAML)
    • Implementation of Unit, Integration, Functional and Security tests
    • Environments strategy understanding
  • Experience in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python
  • Customer-oriented, diligent, proactive, focused on achieving customer’s business objectives as top priority
  • English good enough to communicate with foreign customers both orally and in written – Intermediate (B1) level and higher. Pre-Intermediate (A2) level can be considered as acceptable for Junior specialists only
