Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Rides and Attractions mechanical systems & equipment maintain the highest level of safety in accordance with Yerevan Park’s standards and specifications, accepted Ride Manufacture practices
  • Supervise  and ensure the execution of Daily Inspections, Repair & Troubleshooting of Rides and Attractions in Yerevan Park
  • Train, manage, direct activities, and provide guidance and leadership to a team of Mechanical Technicians
  • Perform all technical duties and take all technical responsibilities in the absence of other Technical support personnel
  • Ensure completion of all relevant documentation, including but not limited to: Inspection Checklists, Inspection Logs, Daily & Monthly Technical Reports,
  • In cooperation with the Technical Director and Operations Base, ensure maintenance and filing of documentation and safeguarding and control of confidential and propriety technical documentation
  • Assist the Technical Director in establishing, directing, and administering all operations policies, procedures, and activities.
  • Verify compliance with standard operation procedures, safety regulations and guidelines; keep up to date with all standards.
  • Assist in conducting trainings, coaching and appraisals where necessary for the business and team, staffing and scheduling, keeping the staff motivated and ensuring a safe, clean and fun operation.
  • Direct, develop, monitor and report on operations within all functional areas. Alert Operations Manager as appropriate of concerns, changes and progress.
  • Identify and respond to customer needs, ongoing customer suggestions, analyze and resolve customer issues, disagreements and complaints, ensure their positive resolution, take measures to prevent them.
  • Prepare general and individual reports based on service quality monitoring results and propose appropriate measures to improve service quality.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Assist in creating a culture of hospitality whereby frontline staff embody and communicate institutional values, are empowered to resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Build professional working relationships in line with established values, corporate culture, and established work ethic and discipline.
  • In absence of Technical Director, take the assignment as Tech Manager On Duty (Tech MOD) as needed
  • Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Director

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a position responsible for technical or maintenance areas of operations in a high volume equipment environment, with direct experience managing maintenance of industrial mechanical systems
  • Higher education preferably in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills and in building and maintaining collaborative relationships. 
  • Be available to work unscheduled hours to respond to unplanned and/or emergency work. Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.  
  • Be reachable in the park on operating days by working indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather.
  • Comfortable working at heights of 25m+
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.      
  • Fluent in communication in English and Russian.
  • High sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced (occasionally stressful) environment.
