What you’ll be doing as an Implementation Engineering Scrum Master:

  • Establish Agile values and uphold principles including collaboration, fostering a culture of openness and innovation, team self-organization, continuous improvement and flexibility to adapt to emerging business needs
  • Build a collaborative, trusting and safe environment where open communication helps to bring issues to the surface for faster resolution where missteps are seen as learning opportunities
  • Lead, mentor and coach team members on Agile best practices and performance in their respective roles
  • Identify and remove impediments, sharpen team focus, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within teams
  • Partner with the Functional Implementation Managers to maintain an effective work backlog for the team and work closely with cross-functional groups to ensure clear lines of communication
  • Drive the tactical day-to-day product delivery process, including scheduling & leading sprint meetings, ensuring agreed upon backlog items are prioritized, and picked up for development on timely manner
  • Manage escalations and support team to balance competing priorities
  • Provide execution and delivery leadership to the Functional Implementation Managers
  • Ensure effective program delivery
  • Help the team identify and track key performance metrics to maximize efficiency and velocity 
  • Analyze, communicate and present data to provide transparency and help stakeholders achieve delivery and business goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years as a Scrum Master for a software development team
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques: Release planning, Scrum of Scrums, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Paired Programming, Automated Testing
  • Knowledge of source control systems, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket), Git, Excel, and Powerpoint a plus
  • Experience leading the development of new services and maintaining live systems
  • Exceptional collaboration and leadership skills 
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Excel at decision-making, consensus building and conflict management
