Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and tax accounting conducting for a small company and wholesale international companies-clients
  • Advising the client’s head office on tax and accounting matters (in English)
  • Preparation and submission of tax calculations and declarations
  • Preparation of VAT, profit tax, etc.
  • Preparation of accounting and tax reporting
  • Preparation of a monthly management report, closing of the month, 1C base
  • Interaction with tax and other state authorities
  • Passing of audit, tax audits
  • Control of the accountants’ work on the project (1-3), methodological support, incl. the client’s accountants
  • Consulting clients on tax matters 
  • Review of contracts and other documents from local and international tax point of view
  • Monitor legislation changes, advise and prepare updates for businesses on tax procedures, tax law amendments 
  • Internal consulting of accountants on current tax and tax litigation practice issues
  • Consulting clients on tax authorities claims, tax decisions objections and tax litigations perspectives
  • Participating in financial and tax due diligence projects
  • Leading or participating in various tax projects for external clients
  • Structuring of intra-group transactions in compliance with the Armenian and international tax principles

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Accounting/Auditing / Tax / Transfer Pricing preferably within Big 4 or local auditing companies from 3 years
  • Knowledge of VAT, income tax, experience in tax returns preparation
  • Good knowledge of tax laws, ability to conduct accounting independently
  • Good knowledge of currency control
  • Experience in 1C 8.3, 1С Salary
  • Desire to develop professionally in outsourcing and consulting, to study and apply more knowledge in practice in the international environment
  • Extensive oral and written tax consulting experience
  • Profound knowledge of Armenian tax law and application of double tax treaties
  • Basic understanding of Armenian accounting principles
  • Experience in working with/consulting of foreign companies and their subsidiaries in Armenia
  • Fluent in English and Russian languages
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to supervise several projects simultaneously
