Simply Technologies is looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to work on developing a leading app from the food industry․ You will be a part of the experienced engineering team of Simply Technologies with a strong learning and development culture.

- Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to design, code, test, and debug innovative applications and support those
- Applications in a timely manner
- Be technical lead/ mentor/career development adviser for the whole technical team
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Partnering with cross-functional peers (PM, QA, Backend Engineering)
- Work with project managers and take complex technical terms and convert them into clean and secure code
- Documenting application changes and developing updates
- Have 4+ years of experience with web development
- Strong English language skills
- Solid understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
- Have strong knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Have good experience with PHP, specifically in the Laravel framework
- Familiarity with some of the following: Cloud services (AWS), API design, databases, and CI/CD
- Have extensive knowledge of the latest technology trends
- Should be able to create complex algorithms and prevent issues before they happen
