Overview

“The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in Armenia” is looking for a “Vehicle Fleet Manager”.

Responsibilities:

  • Determines needs of the fleet and maximizes its efficiency and effectiveness through planned resource allocation in accordance with ICRC guidelines
  • Manages, monitors and is accountable for vehicle fuel supplies, including contingency planning
  • Establishes the spare parts inventory and carries out controls in accordance with the ICRC guidelines
  • Provides technical input in the decision-making process regarding private transport services under contract, especially freight transport
  • Ensures that administrative paperwork related to vehicles and drivers is handled in a professional manner
  • Monitors, organizes and maximazes the effenciency of the vehicle pool to support the ICRC in Armenia delegation’s operations
  • Provides and organizes employee training in accordance with security regulations and technical guidelines
  • Acts as administrator of the FleetWave application and uses it to generate reports, analyses the reports and takes necessary corrective actions, if needed

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree (equivalent training in similar field would be a plus)
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience / 2 years of management experience (career in international organizations will be viewed as an asset)
  • Driving license B (C will be viewed as an asset) for at least 6 years
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English, Russian, Armenian
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office)
  • Disciplined and accurate personality
  • Good communication skills
