PicsArt is looking for a Vice President (VP) of Engineering with transformational people leadership experience. The VP of Engineering will be responsible for the direction and management of engineering activities, ensuring that products meet design requirements, and deliver a consistent experience for users. The Ideal candidate must have experience as a multi-disciplined engineering leader. Leveraging best practices, s/he will drive PicsArt’s Engineering vision, leading the company towards new success and relentlessly pursuing an impact. The position reports directly to the CTO and operates as a key leader on PicsArt Global engineering staff.


- Partner deeply with product managers and designers to build high-quality experiences and architectures that will support a great user journey for PicsArt users
- Ensure tailored implementation of the best methodologies and development processes
- Communicate and drive engineering initiatives across functions
- Participate in technical design, define and influence product strategy
- Design, implement, and monitor all operations and key performance metrics/operational efficiency for the engineering team
- Proactively identify, prioritize and resolve development issues as they arise working closely with company leadership
- Take ownership of resource planning and talent acquisition for correctly sized teams to meet the new business pipeline
- Mentor and promote team members and help leaders grow the organization
- Work effectively and collaborate cross-functionally, build support and alignment across multiple business units.

Required Qualifications:

- BS, MA or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience managing a high performing engineering team in a rapidly growing environment
- Experience managing global distributed teams
- Strong technical and engineering background that includes cloud technology, platforms and user-facing applications
- Proficiency in modern technology architecture, infrastructure and software practices
- Ability to formulate and articulate strategy/vision and effectively drive consensus across the organization
- Experience in recruiting, developing, retaining, leading and inspiring highly effective teams
- Excellent technical communications skills at all levels of the organization including both technical and non-technical individuals
- Strong organizational judgment and problem-solving
