Overview
“OxYGen Foundatio” is looking for a “Youth/Community Mobilizer”.
- Assist in designing and implementing strategies to effectively communicate project goals and messages to target audiences
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and involve target groups in relevant activities
- Collaborate with local stakeholders (schools, community centers, local-self-government, regional authorities, and organizations to build relationships and expand outreach
- Implement detailed activity planning
- Support procurement and budget planning
- Support logistic planning
- Support in planning beneficiary and stakeholder engagement processes
- Execute project activities of the OxYGen Foundation’s programs
- Mobilize the target groups (youth and women) for active participation in events, campaigns, or other activities related to the Program
- Support in communication between activity stakeholders, e.g. participants, service providers, project partners, e.g. through minutes, reports, and summaries wherever necessary
- Assure proper filing and information flow
- Support in ensuring a high level of participatin by all activity stakeholders in the planning and execution process wherever necessary
- Provide information and consulting to project beneficiaries whenever necessary
- In cooperation with project partners and OxYGen Foundation senior management ensure reaching projects’ targets
- Conduct any other tasks required for the successful implementation of projects’ activities
- Gather data required for monitoring of project implementation and prepare monitoring reports
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of strategies and adapt approaches based on feedback from participants
- Gather and maintain project documentation in an organized manner
- Responsible for the development of narrative progress reports to PM
- Support Programs Manager in other relevant tasks
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, community development, education, psychology) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working with youth or community engagement is a plus. This could include roles in youth programs, community organizations, non-profits, or similar settings
- Passion for working with and advocating for youth/women empowerment and participation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in organizing events, workshops, or campaigns is a plus
- Familiarity with digital tools and social media platforms for engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with various stakeholders
