Cybersecurity Analyst

• Monitor events for attacks, intrusions, unauthorized or illegal activity
• Analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise
• Analyze anomalies in network traffic using metadata
• Identify applications and operating systems of a network device based on network traffic
• Monitor network traffic for security incidents and events
• Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of all source data sets
• Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
• Conduct threat research
• Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
• Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news
• Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field is required
• Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and directory services
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess risks, threats, patterns and trends
• Teamworking skills for collaborating with team members and clients
• Excellent attention to detais
• Written communication skills, for example to write technical reports
• Fluent in English
