Overview

The Head of Payment Partnerships will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with payment processors, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders. This role requires to be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of payment technologies, market trends, and partnership management.

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and execute the Bank's strategic plan for payment collaborations;
  • Attract and establish new partnerships within the framework of contemporary payment solutions;
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with the Bank's existing partners;
  • Expand the network of vPOS service points and oversee the onboarding process for new customers;
  • Conduct thorough assessments and analyses of applications from potential clients;
  • Ensure comprehensive analysis of cardholders, service points, and card transactions;
  • Organize and oversee continuous, round-the-clock maintenance of payment
instrument collaborations between the Bank and its partner companies;
  • Perform periodic evaluations of partnerships, including monitoring of balances and preparation of detailed reports;
  • Implement projects aimed at activating and enhancing loyalty for vPOS service points and other partner entities;
  • Effectively manage and delegate tasks within the department, providing support and guidance to the team for ongoing professional development;
  • Collaborate with various departments within the Bank to advance the development of modern payment solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • University degree in finance, business or other related field, MBA or advanced degree is preferred;
  • At least 5 years of experience at Fintech or Payment company;
  • Hands-on experience in developing and executing successful payments strategies
(ideally with banks, payment companies, and digital wallet providers);
  • Good grasp of Armenian banking and legislation, and payment service processes;
  • Well-established relationships and network within the business and Fintech
community;
  • Strong understanding of global payment methods, systems, and regulations;
  • Proactive mindset with business-savvy understanding;
  • Strong critical-thinking and decision-making abilities, with a focus on identifying innovative solutions to payment-related challenges;
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Result-driven with the ability to multitask and set priorities;
  • Perfect command of Russian and English languages.
