Overview

The M&E Facilitator will provide support in the design, monitoring, and evaluation processes for projects implemented by Action Against Hunger in Armenia. This role will ensure the effective collection, analysis, and reporting of data, including the management of digital data collection tools such as KOBO, while adhering to the organization’s M&E protocols.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Monitoring:
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data, ensuring adherence to quality standards;
  • Monitor the performance indicator tracking systems and maintain M&E databases, updating them regularly;
  • Assist in setting up surveys, including developing endline survey methodologies;
  • Conduct face-to-face interviews with beneficiaries and oversee enumerators to ensure high-quality data collection;
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate data documentation and timely updates.

KOBO Tool Management:
  • Create, manage, and update questionnaires in KOBO, ensuring the tool is effectively used for data collection;
  • Assist in training of enumerators on the use of KOBO for survey administration.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Assist in data analysis, ensuring accurate interpretation of collected information;
  • Provide support in documenting results and preparing M&E reports in line with project reporting schedules.

Accountability and Learning:
  • Ensure that project teams are following M&E guidelines and systems;
  • Collaborate with partners and staff on qualitative monitoring, providing information for ongoing evaluation and adaptation.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide M&E support to the project teams as required;
  • Promote gender sensitivity in M&E and program activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences (Sociology, Social Research Methods), Statistics, Political Sciences, or a related field;
  • M&E experience in a development or humanitarian context;
  • Knowledge of research methods, statistical analysis, and data visualization;
  • Ability to design M&E tools and surveys;
  • Experience conducting interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions;
  • Familiarity with KOBO for questionnaire design and data collection;
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS and Excel; experience with Power BI is an advantage;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Demonstrated attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment with good interpersonal and diplomatic skills;
  • Familiarity with the humanitarian context and the needs of vulnerable populations, including refugees and displaced persons.
  • Languages: Fluency in Armenian and English; Russian is an asset.
