Polixis is looking for a Network Security Administrator.

Responsibilities:
  • Support in the implementation of security policies to safeguard our network and infrastructure
  • Configure & support network equipment for seamless connectivity and quick troubleshooting
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond swiftly to any security incidents
  • Conduct regular security assessments including vulnerability scans and penetration tests
  • Manage security tools like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Perform risk assessments and create strategies to mitigate threats
  • Provide technical support and expert guidance to IT teams on network security matters
  • Stay ahead of emerging security threats and technologies, keeping our defenses cutting-edge
  • Set up & maintain workstations and peripheral devices, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, incidents, and changes
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Fluency in English language is a must
  • Proven experience in network security administration with expertise in firewall management and network protocols
  • Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI-DSS
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNA Security (or similar)
  • Knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools
  • Expertise in Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and group policy management
  • Ability to work with Windows, macOS, Linux platforms with ease
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset—you'll be working with a dynamic team
  • Experience in DevOps is a big plus
