Evoca is looking for a Technical Product Owner who will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from ideation to implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to create innovative solutions that align with the company’s vision and customer needs. Your role will be crucial in transforming technical requirements into clear, actionable deliverables. - Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap;
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints;
- Develop detailed product backlogs and user stories that outline functional and non-functional requirements;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, marketing, and customer support, to gather requirements and align product goals;
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment;
- Work directly with engineering teams to understand and convey technical requirements, trade-offs, and feasibility of new product features;
- Review technical designs, provide feedback, and ensure that they meet user needs and business goals;
- Assist with the identification and resolution of technical roadblocks throughout the product development lifecycle;
- Lead sprint planning, grooming sessions, and daily stand-ups to ensure smooth delivery of product increments;
- Ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining high product quality;
- Monitor product performance and feedback post-launch, iterating as necessary to optimize features and user experience;
- Use data and metrics to drive product decisions, track feature usage, and assess product success;
- Continuously improve processes to enhance product development efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience);
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Lead in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
- Solid technical background with experience working with development teams, ideally with an understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, and integrations;
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear product requirements and user stories;
- Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello;
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively;
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across various teams and departments;
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
