Role description:

Evoca is looking for a Technical Product Owner who will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from ideation to implementation. Responsibilities:
What will you be doing?

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap;
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints;
  • Develop detailed product backlogs and user stories that outline functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, marketing, and customer support, to gather requirements and align product goals;
  • Facilitate communication between engineering teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment;
  • Work directly with engineering teams to understand and convey technical requirements, trade-offs, and feasibility of new product features;
  • Review technical designs, provide feedback, and ensure that they meet user needs and business goals;
  • Assist with the identification and resolution of technical roadblocks throughout the product development lifecycle;
  • Lead sprint planning, grooming sessions, and daily stand-ups to ensure smooth delivery of product increments;
  • Ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining high product quality;
  • Monitor product performance and feedback post-launch, iterating as necessary to optimize features and user experience;
  • Use data and metrics to drive product decisions, track feature usage, and assess product success;
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance product development efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
What skills are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience);
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Lead in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
  • Solid technical background with experience working with development teams, ideally with an understanding of software architecture, APIs, cloud platforms, and integrations;
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear product requirements and user stories;
  • Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello;
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively;
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across various teams and departments;
  • Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
