Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting regulations
  • Perform account reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and company accounting policies
  • Assist in the preparation of VAT, income tax, and other tax reports
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Identify financial risks and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Work closely with other finance teams to align financial reporting and compliance
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are an advantage
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or auditing
  • Expertise in financial statement preparation and account reconciliations
  • Strong understanding of tax compliance and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and accounting principles
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluency in Armenian and English
