Overview
American University of Armenia Fund is looking for a Admissions Counselor.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and clearly communicate admissions requirements, policies, and procedures of AUA’s graduate and undergraduate programs in English and Armenian, for both in person visits and on the phone
- Serve as first point of contact for prospective students and families ensuring all questions are responded to appropriately and in a manner that creates a welcoming environment
- Ensure all email communication to various admissions administered email addresses is responded to accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide engaging on-campus tours to prospective applicants
Required Qualifications:
- Fluency in English and Armenian. Russian, Arabic, or Farsi is a plus
- Strong English and Armenian writing skills
- Extremely attentive to details
- Excellent online media communication skills (email, social networks, etc.)
- Very good computer skills (MS Office)
- Strong administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
