Overview

You will lead automated quality assurance activities across a broad portfolio of financial applications. This role includes building and maintaining automated test frameworks, guiding the QA team in adopting AI driven testing approaches and coordinating quality processes throughout the release lifecycle. You will work with TypeScript, Playwright and AI technologies to enhance automation efficiency and ensure high accuracy of test execution. Client: Our client is an international association of financial industry professionals, connecting over 200,000 investment experts and leveraging 100+ diverse applications to deliver innovative solutions. Project Overview: The project supports a large ecosystem of financial applications used by industry professionals around the world. The work focuses on improving test automation coverage, integrating AI driven testing practices and ensuring the stability of multiple interconnected systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead automation strategy and quality initiatives across the project
  • Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks with TypeScript and Playwright
  • Guide the QA team in using AI Agent concepts to improve automation coverage
  • Utilize Playwright MCP to implement advanced automation capabilities
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define quality standards and test strategies
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI and CD processes
  • Conduct reviews of automated test code and provide feedback to the team
  • Use GitHub Copilot to increase test development efficiency
  • Maintain test documentation and support release readiness activities
  • Stay informed about new approaches in AI driven automation and apply them to the project
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience leading quality assurance or automation initiatives
  • Hands on experience with Playwright MCP
  • Understanding of AI Agent concepts and their use in automation
  • Proficiency in TypeScript
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver
  • Familiarity with CI and CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross functional team
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture
  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • Background in financial applications or financial systems integration
