Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications and APIs
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Implement security and data protection measures
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer-review code changes
  • Work with databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application functionality
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in back-end development
  • Good proficiency in Node.js, or PHP
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebSocket protocols
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Good understanding of software architecture and microservices
