Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the maintenance of accounting records, timely preparation and submission of reports to the relevant authorities
  • Ensure the accounting of fixed assets and consumable items, and conduct asset monitoring
  • Directly perform and/or supervise the completeness and accuracy of accounting and internal financial reports
  • Ensure accurate analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Maintain and control current bookkeeping
  • Monitor changes in accounting and fiscal legislation and ensure that accounting records are kept in accordance with the requirements of current legislation
  • Manage the accounting of accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Issue invoices (or waybills/delivery notes, depending on context, haskiv-aprankagir is often an invoice/waybill)
  • Generate statements for settlement accounts
Required Qualifications:
  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, or Finance
  • Solid experience in accounting. Proven experience working with Foundations, NGOs, or other non-profits, specifically handling grant and fund accounting
  • Expert-level working knowledge of the RA legislation (Tax Code, Labor Code, Law on Charitable Foundations) for accounting implementation
  • Skilled in accounting software (local systems preferred) and MS Office Proficiency
  • Good command of Armenian, English, and Russian, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
