Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement the bank-wide data governance framework, including data ownership, data quality management, metadata management, and data lifecycle management
  • Establish and enforce data policies, standards, and controls in line with regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure data integrity, confidentiality, availability, and controlled access across all systems
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of the enterprise data architecture
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Lake as the foundation for reporting, analytics, and advanced data use cases
  • Ensure scalability, performance, reliability, and integration with core banking and digital systems
  • Develop and manage data analytics and BI capabilities to support business decision-making
  • Enable self-service analytics and standardized reporting across business units
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of analytical data models, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Lead the adoption of data science, machine learning, and AI use cases
  • Identify and prioritize high-value advanced analytics initiatives in collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Oversee the model lifecycle, from experimentation and validation to production deployment
  • Build and lead cross-functional data teams, including data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists
  • Promote a data-driven culture across the organization
  • Act as a key partner to business, IT, enterprise architecture, and information security teams
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in senior data leadership roles (e.g., CDO, Head of Data, Head of Analytics) within banking or financial services
  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Information Management, or Business Administration
  • In-depth familiarity with a wide range of data management and analytics tools such as Oracle Database (PL/SQL), MySQL, Power BI, Python
  • Good working knowledge of English and Russian
  • Experience in building and leading high-performance teams
  • Excellent communication skills
