Ameriabank CJSC is looking for a Chief Specialist, Operational Risk Service.

Responsibilities:
  • Identification, assessment and monitoring of operational risks inherent to the Bank's business processes
  • Operational risk management methodology and framework development and management, management principles and standards periodical review and development, best practice implementation
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis and assessment of operational risks to determine the likelihood and impact of an identified risk
  • Proactively analyze various data sources to form an independent assessment/opinion of operational risk.
  • Operational risk mitigation actions and control set up and monitoring, evaluation of the risk mitigation efficiency
  • Risks stress scenario development, development, implementation and monitoring of key risk indicators, key control indicators
  • Operational loss events and operational risk incidents’ database management and analysis
  • Risk reporting and development of the relevant tools
  • Other duties related to risk management functions as assigned by the supervisor or according to the Bank’s iInternal acts
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy or other relevant fields
  • Work experience of 4+ years in the financial services industry in risk and controls assessment
  • Strong analytical skills and proven ability to develop solutions to complex problems, including those that are analytical, process, and/or data oriented in nature
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to negotiate compromise and demonstrate diplomacy in sensitive situations
  • The individual should be well versed with Operational Risk Frameworks, standards and effective challenge.
  • Practice and experience of risk assessment methodologies, stress scenario development, risk control and mitigation approaches, analysis techniques, BI reporting
  • Understanding banking and market products, risk methodologies, practices and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form in Armenian, Russian and English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, creative thinking
  • Commitment to work and high sense of responsibility
