The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) is a non-executive, non-armed civilian Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP) Mission. EUMA observes and reports on the security situation along the Armenian side of the border with Azerbaijan. It contributes to human security in conflict-affected areas in Armenia and contributes to confidence building between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) offers 21 posts in the Security and Duty of Care, Operations Department, Mission Support Department, and Human Resources Section. EUMA offers working opportunity in an international environment with a professional atmosphere. It is full-time work, in a multicultural environment.

The CIS Admin Assistant reports to the Head of CIS, or his/her designated alternate, and works under the functional supervision of the CIS Officer responsible for CIS service contracts.

Responsibilities:
  • To administratively assist the Head of CIS in identifying, developing and implementing relevant policies, Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines in the CIS Unit;
  • Assist in the management of CIS inventories, both on paper and electronically
  • To request itemized bills and historical data from service providers;
  • To verify reports & invoices of economic contract partners of the CIS Unit;
  • To administer and distribute relevant reports and required information to internal and external functions;
  • To identify and report on lessons learned and best practices within the respective area of responsibility;
  • To contribute and ensure timely reporting on activities within the respective area of responsibility;
  • To take account of gender equality and human rights aspects in the execution of tasks;
  • To contribute to the maintenance of the filing system to meet administrative, legal and financial requirements;
  • To perform any other related task as requested by his/her Line Manager.
Required Qualifications:

Eligibility criteria:
  • Medically fit to perform the required duties;
  • Fluency in English and Armenian, both oral and written;
  • Enjoy full civil rights and do not have a criminal record;
  • Citizenship of Armenia and/or holding permanent resident and work permits according to Armenian laws;
  • Have fulfilled any obligations imposed on him/her by the laws concerning military service; - Successful completion of a minimum level of Upper Secondary Education attested by a graduation diploma and;
  • After having obtained the graduation diploma, a minimum of 3 (three) years of relevant experience in the area of Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant fields.

  • Flexibility in the execution of tasks and ability to work independently;
  • Ability to perform under stress and in difficult circumstances;
  • Professional experience in an EU and/or International environment;
  • Experience of working in an intercultural environment, with respect of diversity;
  • Fluency in Russian language
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning programs;
  • Knowledge and experience in the implementation of financial regulations and rules as well as accounting policies and practices;
  • Professional experience ( advanced skills) working with Microsoft Office: World, Excel, Power Point.
