AeroDynamics is looking for a CNC Engineer.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop CNC programs using CAM software from engineering drawings and specs
  • Set up and configure CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) for machining
  • Optimize processes to improve cycle times, reduce scrap, and boost efficiency
  • Select tooling, including cutting tools and fixtures, to enhance machine performance
  • Work with design engineers and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and suggest improvements
  • Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs and machine setups to solve production issues
  • Implement and apply best practices for CNC programming and machining
  • Create documentation and instructions for CNC operators
  • Train operators on machine setup, operation, and maintenance
  • Keep updated on the latest CNC technology and machining techniques
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience as a CNC Engineer
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and CAM programming languages (G-code, M-code).
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles
  • Experience with CNC machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams
