Overview

Responsibilities:
  • Set up CNC machines (such as mills, lathes, or grinders) according to job requirements and machine specifications
  • Load raw materials into the machine
  • Prepare and load cutting tools needed for machining operations
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform basic maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning and lubricating
  • Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if adjustments are needed
  • Troubleshoot machine errors and make adjustments as necessary
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar machining role
  • Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Solid understanding of CNC operation and programming, including G-code
  • Ability to use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle and position necessary manufacturing materials and operate machinery for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
