Tufenkian Hospitality LLC is looking for a Corporate Sales and Events Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • To be aware of local market competition, to monitor trends within the industry and make suggestions how these could be implemented in the hotel
  • To pass on all complaints/comments received from customers/clients regarding the hotel, hotel services, etc. to the - Director of Sales and Hotel Manager immediately
  • To be fully aware of the hotel’s major corporate clients and high-profile individual guests, current VIP guests, hotel promotions and room rates
  • Responsible for increasing corporate sales, handling sales phone calls, e-mails and personal meetings
  • Organize and conduct familiarization tours of the hotel
  • Communicating with clients prior to their course and recording all correspondence
  • Compiling client Information Packs
  • Developing and implementing ideas for the sales of hotels and restaurants
  • Utilising social networking opportunities to facilitate sales and increase the brand awareness
  • Assisting with promotional events
  • Manage (and fill) events calendar
  • Maintain BEO (banquet event order) paperwork for each booking
  • Negotiate contracts and assist with accounts receivable
  • Collaborate with chef and restaurant manager on menu requests
  • Supporting the Director of Sales in all aspects of the work
  • Providing reviews from clients to be able to access possible improvements to current items and also the need for new items.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales field, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience
  • Articulate and good telephone manner
  • Proven ability in copy writing for marketing purposes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly for a sales audience
  • Knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian is a must
  • Must be able to close successful business deals
  • Keen eye for attention to detail
  • High level of computer proficiency and demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Creative, innovative and willing to contribute ideas and professional opinion
