Cybersecurity Analyst

- Monitor events for attacks, intrusions, unauthorized or illegal activity
- Analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise
- Analyze anomalies in network traffic using metadata
- Identify applications and operating systems of a network device based on network traffic
- Monitor network traffic for security incidents and events
- Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of all source data sets
- Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
- Conduct threat research
- Generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders
- Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news
- Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field is required
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and directory services
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and assess risks, threats, patterns and trends
- Teamworking skills for collaborating with team members and clients
- Excellent attention to detais
- Written communication skills, for example to write technical reports
- Fluent in English
