Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that support analytics and reporting needs. You will contribute to data modeling, pipeline development, and data quality practices while collaborating closely with analytics teams to deliver trusted and accessible datasets.
Project Overview:
This project focuses on building a scalable and reliable data platform that powers analytics, reporting, and data driven decision making across the organization. You will help integrate multiple enterprise data sources and ensure consistent, high quality data delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable canonical data models in BigQuery
  • Build and maintain data transformation workflows using Dataform
  • Develop and improve the Looker LookML semantic layer for reporting and analytics
  • Integrate data from Sage 200 and other enterprise systems
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across pipelines and datasets
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to deliver accessible and reliable data solutions
  • Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with BigQuery and cloud based data warehousing
  • Hands on experience with Dataform or similar transformation tools
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data modeling techniques
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL ELT processes
  • Familiarity with Looker and LookML or similar semantic layer tools
  • Experience integrating data from enterprise systems such as Sage 200
  • Understanding of data quality practices and validation techniques
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
Nice To Have:
  • Experience with other cloud platforms or data tools
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Exposure to data governance and data catalog tools
  • Experience working in analytics or reporting focused environments
