Deputy Chief Executive Officer

- Drive the growth strategy for the Company with responsibility for all activities
- Provide strong leadership and general management functions working closely with the executive team
- Make financial decisions such as budgeting, accounting for costs, and paying bills
- Maintain farm machinery such as tractors and harvesters
- Ensure the safety of all employees while they are working on the farm
- Plan and carry out farming activities such as planting trees, caring for trees, and harvesting produce
- Ensure that the farm is compliant with regulations regarding environmental protection, labor laws, and more
- Manage livestock, trees, and other products on the farm
- Prepare budgets and managing expenses for the farm, including labor costs, equipment purchases, and supplies used in production
- Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Oversee the sale of produce through different venues such as farmers’ markets
- Keep up with trends in the industry

- Master’s degree in agriculture, business administration or management
- Experience developing and implementing marketing plans
- Familiarity with government regulations related to farming and food production
- Proven experience as a farm owner or manager
- Working knowledge of agricultural best practices, including trees irrigation, and soil management
- Strong business acumen, with experience developing budgets and managing expenses
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Required candidate level: C level
