Overview
Ucom is looking for a Devices Category Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Researching and analyzing consumer behavior, market trends and competitor activity
- Plan and execute innovative promotions and marketing campaigns that drive category growth and engagement
- Optimize the product mix within the category, balancing customer demand, and profitability
- Continuously analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine category strategies and make data driven recommendations
- Monitor vendor performance and hold them accountable for meeting our high standards
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with current and new suppliers and negotiate favorable terms to ensure competitive prices vs the quality of the original products
- Work cross functionally with different departments
- Organize relevant approvals, documentations
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in business, economics, marketing or related field
- Proven experience in category management or retail buying, with a focus on mobile devices, electronics and other appliances
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Experience working with international vendors
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Armenian, Russian and English with international partners
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Ability to deliver results under high pressure and fast pace working environment
- Self-motivated, highly disciplined
