Overview
We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer to provide ongoing support for our existing solutions with a strong focus on automation (including self-service capabilities) and security. This role offers a unique opportunity to both manage day-to-day operational tasks and drive transformative change through collaboration, technical thought leadership, and innovation across the organization.
You will work closely with DevOps Engineers and cross-functional teams to continually enhance our CI/CD pipelines and observability practices, improving performance, reliability, security, and simplicity.

Project Overview:
- Provide ongoing operational support for existing solutions, focusing on automation and security improvements.
- Design and implement self-service tools and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams and other stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and processes.
- Enhance observability by improving monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning practices with tools like DataDog.
- Implement and maintain secure infrastructure by leveraging tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
- Support Kubernetes environments and contribute to optimizing container orchestration and deployment workflows.
- Serve as a technical thought leader facilitating knowledge sharing and promoting best practices across teams.
- Communicate effectively with diverse teams to ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
- Experience with other cloud platforms or DevOps tools.
- Background in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of container security and cloud-native security frameworks.
- Proven experience in AWS DevOps environments.
- Strong Kubernetes skills and experience managing containerized applications.
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management solutions.
- Proficient in monitoring and observability tools, specifically DataDog.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience with pipeline tools and automation.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate across teams and influence change.
- Passion for security best practices and automation.
