Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development, data, and platform teams to automate deployments, improve system reliability, and implement infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices. You will also help enable seamless data and application integrations across cloud platforms. Client: Our client is one of the world’s largest investment funds, managing hundreds of billions of dollars. The company’s business is focused on several areas: private equity, venture capital, real assets, investment solutions, and global market strategies. Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Amazon ECS
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch and Datadog
  • Manage and optimize AWS services, including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, ECS, and EventBridge
  • Implement messaging and notification services using SNS and SES
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and security best practices across environments
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment automation and system reliability
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues across environments
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and operational runbooks
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
  • Proven experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions preferred)
  • Strong experience with Docker and container orchestration using ECS
  • Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and Datadog
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
  • Experience working with Git-based workflows
  • Solid understanding of networking, DNS, and security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong documentation and operational discipline
Nice To Have:
  • Experience integrating with Snowflake and Salesforce platforms
  • Familiarity with agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, VS Code with Copilot)
  • Experience with event-driven architectures
  • Knowledge of AWS cost optimization practices
  • Experience supporting high-availability production systems
