Overview

Reporting to the USAID Economic Foundations Chief of Party, the Durable Housing Technical Lead will:
– Oversee all activities, staff, consultants, and deliverables related to the durable housing task order, refining and adapting strategies and interventions when needed, and ensuring the timeliness and quality of deliverables;
– Coordinate with and convene government, donor, and other stakeholders, ensuring the objectives of collaborations are clearly communicated and deliverables are provided in a timely manner;
– Represent USAID Economic Foundations at relevant public events and other forums;
– Contribute to USAID Economic Foundations reports and Communications materials;
– Contribute to the technical design and oversight of grants under the task order, working closely with Grants and Compliance Manager to ensure proper grant utilization, compliance, and reporting;
– Work closely with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director and Gender and Inclusion Specialist to support Activity-level reporting.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: bachelor’s degree in management or related field;
  • Preference for 10 years’ experience managing projects in Armenia, ideally projects which required coordination with GOAM stakeholders. While work experience with relevance to the durable housing task order scope is not required, it is welcome;
  • Experience working directly on USAID-funded projects and preferred experience collaborating with other donors relevant to the durable housing task order, such as UNDP, UNHCR, UNICEF, etc;
  • History of successful team and project management roles with demonstrated ability to sustain project momentum, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and deliver results on large-scale and/or complex projects that are limited in time in other resources;
  • Excellent networking, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with GOAM stakeholders such as MOLSA, MOESCS, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Finance, and others relevant to the scope of this task order;
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and facilitate adaptations on projects, particularly pilot projects;
  • Language Proficiency: fluent written and oral English and Armenian language;
  • Demonstrated skills in developing content for technical and/or donor reports;
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
