Overview
The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the achievement of budgeted financial targets. This position involves daily preventive budget control for operating expenses and capital expenditures across various functional areas, as well as budget preparation, variance analysis, and internal/external reporting.
- Implement preventive budget control measures and ensure accurate financial documentation.
- Maintain records of internal requests, advance payments, invoices, and contract databases.
- Ensure proper allocation of non-budgeted expenses in compliance with financial policies.
- Conduct budget variance analysis and generate reports in various formats and periodicities.
- Perform financial analysis of marketing actions to assess cost efficiency.
- Verify that purchase requests are backed by appropriate documentation as per budget control policies.
- Audit expenses to ensure compliance with budgeting policies and procedures.
- Assist in budgeting and investment planning processes.
- Higher education in Finance or Economics.
- Prior work experience considered an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Accounting principles.
- Familiarity with IFRS and RA Tax Legislation considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ArmSoft.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent reporting and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English.
