Overview

The Financial Institutions Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing and expanding the Bank’s relationships with domestic and international financial institutions, focusing on building partnerships, securing funding, promoting collaboration, and ensuring effective coordination between the Bank and external financial institutions. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including senior management, risk management, and compliance teams, to drive business growth and meet strategic goals.

What will you be doing?
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international financial institutions, including correspondent banks, multilateral organizations, and development finance institutions;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for financial institution partners, addressing their needs and ensuring seamless cooperation;
  • Negotiate and manage agreements with financial institutions, such as credit lines, loan syndications, and financing facilities;
  • Identify new partnership opportunities with financial institutions to support the Bank's growth objectives;
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including treasury, corporate banking, trade finance, and legal, to ensure that initiatives are effectively executed;
  • Secure and manage funding opportunities from financial institutions, including DFIs, impact investors, and trade finance organizations;
  • Managing bilateral and multilateral credit lines, ensuring optimal terms and compliance with contractual obligations;
  • Ensure proper documentation for all financial institution transactions and agreements;
  • Maintain accurate records of ongoing financial institution engagements, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders;
  • Prepare reports to the Bank’s management on actual and potential cooperations, negotiations and the results;
  • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to stay informed about the latest trends, innovations, and developments in the financial sector.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of work experience in investment organizations/ foundations/ international donor financial institutions;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and resolve complex operational issues;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners;
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Excellent command of Russian and English.
