Overview
Sportion AM is looking for a Financial Records Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of accounts
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts to ensure accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Process invoices, track expenses, and ensure timely payment of bills
- Issue invoices, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue payments
- Coordinate payment schedules and processes with internal teams and external vendors
- Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of payments while maintaining compliance with financial policies
- Assist with payment-related inquiries and resolutions from relevant teams
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- Bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Google Workspace and Google documents
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- Practical communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and tax regulations
- Familiarity with payroll systems and processes is a plus
