Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full-stack Python Developer to join our dynamic credit team. The ideal candidate is passionate about finance and has a strong grasp of Python’s data analysis libraries.

The ideal candidate must be available for 5-6 hours of overlap with the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone during regular business hours.

Our client is a global asset, investment, and financial product management company operating across the United States and in over 40 other countries.
Project Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python.
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs for scalable applications.
  • Implement user interfaces with JavaScript/React following best practices.
  • Deploy and manage microservices on AWS ECS.
  • Work with relational databases, write efficient SQL queries, and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance.

Required Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
  • Solid experience with JavaScript/React for frontend development.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and running microservices on AWS ECS.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Understanding of software development best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
